THE LASER LOUNGE AT FIERCE INK

WHEN BOOKING ANY LASER SERVICE, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE FORM RECEIVED UPON BOOKING WITHIN 24 HOURS FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT TO BE APPROVED. ALL LASER TREATMENTS ARE PERFORMED BY CERTIFIED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS TO ENSURE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE RESULTS.

Custom Laser Facial

$200

The Hollywood Spectra is a cutting-edge laser that provides treatments designed to address your unique skincare needs. Using advanced laser technology, we tailor each session to target specific concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, unwanted pigment, melasma, acne, uneven texture, and more. This gentle procedure is safe for most skin types and requires little to no downtime. Treatments can be effective on their own, but optimal results are achieved with a series of sessions overtime.

Laser Tattoo Removal

$75+

Using advanced laser technology, our treatment targets and breaks down tattoo pigments, gradually fading and removing the design without damaging surrounding skin. Multiple sessions are usually required to fully remove a tattoo, with each session spaced several weeks apart to allow the skin time to heal and the ink to fade. The number of sessions needed depends on the tattoo's size, color, and depth. On average, it takes about 8-12 sessions to fully remove a tattoo. Expect some pain/discomfort.

Frequently Asked Questions - Laser

Please reach us at lexi@fierceinkandbeauty.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

1. PREGNANCY/BREASTFEEDING

  • Why not: While laser treatments are not known to be harmful during pregnancy or breastfeeding, there is limited research on their safety in these conditions. As a precaution, we advise avoiding laser treatments during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

2. ACTIVE SKIN INFECTIONS OR HERPES

  • Why not: Skin infections, such as herpes simplex or bacterial infections, should be fully healed before undergoing laser treatments. Active infections can spread or worsen, and laser treatments may exacerbate these conditions.

3. HISTORY OF KELOIDS OR HYPERTROPHIC SCARS

  • Why not: Individuals with a history of keloids or hypertrophic scars may be at a higher risk of developing abnormal scarring after laser treatments. Laser procedures can stimulate the production of collagen, which in some people can result in excessive scarring.

4. USE OF ACCUTANE

  • Why not: Accutane (Isotretinoin) is a powerful acne medication that can cause thinning of the skin. Laser treatments should be avoided for at least 6 months after finishing a course of Accutane, as the skin may be too sensitive and prone to complications such as scarring or delayed healing.

5. RECENT SUN EXPOSURE + TANNING BEDS + FAKE TAN

  • Why not: Freshly tanned skin is more prone to burns, pigmentation changes, and complications from laser treatments. It’s important to avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least 2-4 weeks before and after undergoing a laser treatment, especially for procedures like laser facials or tattoo removal.

6. ACTIVE CANCER + CHEMO + RADIATION

  • Why not: Individuals with active cancer or those who have recently undergone chemotherapy or radiation therapy should avoid laser treatments. These treatments can affect skin healing and may compromise the immune system, making it more difficult for the skin to recover post-treatment.

7. CERTAIN AUTOIMMUNE DISORDERS

  • Why not: Some autoimmune conditions can affect the skin’s ability to heal, making it more susceptible to irritation, scarring, or pigmentation changes after laser procedures. People with these conditions should consult their doctor before considering any laser treatments.

8. UNCONTROLLED DIABETES

  • Why not: Diabetes can affect skin healing and circulation, and individuals with uncontrolled diabetes may have a higher risk of complications after laser treatments, such as delayed healing or infection. It's important to manage blood sugar levels before considering laser procedures.

9. SEIZURES

  • Why not: Lasers can sometimes cause flickering lights or flashes, which may trigger seizures in people with certain types of seizure disorders. If you have a history of seizures, it’s important to discuss this with your provider before undergoing laser treatments.

10. CERTAIN MEDICATIONS (PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS)

  • Why not: Some medications, such as certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracycline) or those that make the skin more sensitive to light, can increase the risk of side effects or complications from laser treatments. If you are on any medication, it’s important to inform your provider beforehand.

11. OPEN WOUNDS/CUTS IN THE TREATED AREA

  • Why not: Laser treatments should not be performed on areas with active wounds, cuts, or broken skin, as this can interfere with the healing process and potentially lead to infection or scarring.

Yes, our Laser Facial is safe for most skin types. During your consultation, we will assess your skin and customize the treatment to ensure the best results for your individual needs.

For optimal results, we recommend a series of treatments. While some clients see improvement after just one session, most benefit from 3-6 treatments spaced several weeks apart, depending on your skin goals.

The downtime is minimal, but you may experience some redness or mild swelling depending on the specific skin concerns that are being addressed that typically fades within a few hours to a couple of days. You can resume your normal activities right after the treatment.

Most clients describe the sensation as a mild warming or tingling feeling. The treatment is relatively comfortable, but we can apply a numbing cream if needed for your comfort.

Results vary depending on your skin’s condition, but with regular treatments, you can expect long-lasting improvements in skin tone, texture, and radiance.

Laser tattoo removal works by targeting the ink in your tattoo with high-energy light beams. The laser breaks the tattoo pigment into smaller particles, which are then absorbed and eliminated by your body’s immune system.

The number of sessions needed depends on several factors, including the size, color, and depth of the tattoo. Most tattoos require 8-12 sessions for complete removal, with treatments spaced 8-12 weeks apart.

Laser tattoo removal can be uncomfortable, but most clients find it tolerable. The sensation is often described as similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin.

Laser technology has advanced significantly, and most tattoo colors can be treated. Some colors, like green, red, and blue, may be more difficult to remove, but our state-of-the-art lasers are designed to target a wide range of ink pigments effectively.

While most tattoos can be significantly faded or fully removed with multiple sessions, complete removal depends on various factors, such as the tattoo's age, ink type, and location. Results can vary from person to person.
